Originally from Nebraska, Chuck Sams is finishing his BFA in Acting with minors in Casting and Dramatic Writing at SCAD, where he is a member of the 2026 SCAD Acting Showcase.

Whether it is a rambunctious comedy or a cutting drama, Chuck Sams channels his authenticity, deep emotional well, and quick wit. He finds inspiration at the intersection of the works of Tony Kushner, Cole Escola, Branden Jacobson-Jenkins, and Oscar Wilde. He is contagiously flamboyant, vulnerable, and beyond dedicated to the craft.

Chuck Sams is also a writer, stand-up comedian, and has a passion for politics. He fills spare time with cooking and baking – his focaccia makes the Italians quake, and his carrot cake is a favorite of Bugs Bunny. Trust, it’s that good.
